HOW TO FILE A ROOFING INSURANCE CLAIM

The state of Colorado experiences servere weather conditions such as tornados and hail which can cause leaks, water and structural damage. It is important to document the damages caused to your roof, walls, windows, floor, foundation, or built in appliances so you can begin the claim process. You can file a claim through your insurance’s website, mobile app or via phone.

NEXT STEP AFTER FILING AN INSURANCE CLAIM

You will be asked to schedule an appointment with an insurance adjuster and it is advised you find a local and trusted contractor to provide you with a free estimate. Both the insurance adjuster and the contractor will help determine the cause of damage and the adjusted will provide the total cost.

WHAT TO DO ONCE YOU HAVE AN APPROVED INSURANCE CLAIM

Once your insurance claim has been approved, you can contact your trusted licensed contractor t sign the contract and proceed with the repairs. The insurance provider will usually send out an advance for half of the payment to allow you to begin repairs. The last half will be sent upon completion without your deductible.
